Though poor weather has slowed progress over the last two weeks, the piles have been positioned and concreted, while the final joists are being positioned across today and tomorrow. As the chapel’s framework is pre-fabricated, the structure should take shape very quickly over the next week, before slowing to a more typical pace.
For those who are unfamiliar with the chapel plans, we have also made the plans and design concepts available in the church foyer. They are on the wall between the entrance to the cafe and the cafe kitchen.
Please note: Being a construction site, there are many hazards that present health and safety risks. So we ask that you avoid entering the construction site unless you have been formally inducted.
