Come as you are

We believe that church is an open family;
It’s open because there is always space for more,
and it’s a family because it’s a place of love, care, acceptance, and support.

Church during ‘orange’

Under the COVID Protection Framework, Village Baptist will be operating its main gathering as a certificated service. As there is no attendance limit under ‘Orange’, there’s also no need to pre-book tickets for this gathering, just make sure you bring a vaccine certificate for every member of your whanau who is 12 years and 3 months or older.

We will also be hosting an uncertificated gathering in the church café. The carpark for this gathering is the rear carpark, and the gathering can be accessed via the café doors from the rear carpark’s footpath. As there is a 50-person limit to this gathering, we do ask that you please pre-book tickets using the button below.

Christmas Services

Christmas Eve

This family friendly service will blend scripture, carols, and The Chosen to help prepare us for Christmas Day. This will be run as a certificated service.

Christmas Day
9am, Church Auditorium

In the midst of the hustle and bustle of Christmas Day, this short, 45min family friendly service is designed to help orientate us towards the meaning of the day. This will be run as a certificated service.

Attend a service

We  love sharing what we have with others. So, whether you come once, or hang around for a while, we’d love to see you at one of our services.

(Sunday, 10am)

Every Sunday from 10am Village Baptist hosts a contemporary service with an associated children program. You can join us onsite at:
147 Te Aute Road, Havelock North.

(Sunday, 10am)

You can join our live-streamed service every Sunday from 10am. We go live on both Facebook and YouTube, so make sure you like and subscribe to be reminded when the next service is about to begin.

Messy Church

On the third Sunday of the month, Village Baptist also runs a Messy Church service onsite. Here a biblical story is explored through craft, activity, song, and concludes with a free shared meal.

Not only do we have age specific programs each Sunday, we also have things happening throughout the year for newborns to those in School Year 9.

We run youth evenings every Tuesday and Friday night of the school term, and attend a number of camps throughout the year.

The best way to get to know people, is to spend time with them. So we have a range of service teams and small groups to help you spend time with others.
