As a growing church, we need to make space for those God is sending our way. We need to make space for our youth, our Sunday Services, and our community. The way we’re making this space is by completing stage two of our Building Back Better plan.
Stage Two sees the installation of a multi-purpose building parallel to the ministry centre. While its primary users will be the youth ministry, all of us will benefit from it. With our 7up program moving into the new building, the cafe will return to providing overflow from our Sunday services. Being designed to function as a chapel, it will also be suitable for small weddings, funerals, courses, and concerts.
Through the generosity of the church, we’re only $90,000 away from having the funds required for this build. Which is why we are looking to raise that full amount in one-off gifts and pledges during the service on Sunday, 8th June.
If everyone donated this year’s tax rebate, or if we received the same pledges as we did for our ‘For Them’ fundraiser, we would comfortably reach our target. Meaning, it’s well within reach if we respond from a posture of generosity.
We recognize that not everyone will be able to give a lump sum, but could give a set amount on a weekly/fortnightly/monthly basis. So on our pledge cards there will be the opportunity to commit to a one-off gift, an ongoing commitment, or a mixture of the two. These cards will be available from this Sunday, and we will receive them during the service on Sunday, 8th June.
But, you don’t have to wait until Sunday, 8th June to give, you can do it right now using the info below. And if you haven’t got a tithe number yet, make sure you contact the office to get one.
