Have you noticed the Open Doors World Watch List ranking of countries on the GATeam display board?   This list ranks countries in terms of how hard it is to practise the Christian faith and also shows the changes and shifts in anti-Christian activity.  The data is derived from a questionnaire containing 53 questions sent to Open Doors co-workers, including the degree of legal restriction, state attitudes, how free the church is to organise itself, as well as noting incidents of persecution and even martyrdom.  In recent years there has been a marked increase in the level of anti-Christian activity in many countries.

World Vision Sponsor
Thursday, 08 July 2010 00:00

We have been sponsoring Robuil for ten years now, and with the help of our sponsorship there has been constant improvement in the lives of all the families in Robuil's community. Addressing health problems has had a great impact. Good sanitation and safe drinking water has been provided for hundreds of homes. Primary healthcare and training seminars were organised for 3,200 women.

Training sessions in nutrition were organised for 1100 mothers and adolescents. About 7,600 people received traning in HIV and AIDS prevention and care. Water quality screening tests were conducted on 500 tube wells. Another huge improvement has been the embankment built by World Vision along the river that flows beside the Sariakandi project where Robuil lives. Last year, this embankment saved the Sariakandi project from certain flooding, and will be a lasting protection against the floods that occur almost annually during the monsoon season.

Please continue to pray for Robuil and his sister and 4 brothers.
