Here is what is happening during Kings Kids for Term 3
Bubbles will be looking at some of our favourite Old Testament heroes for the first half of term 3: Joseph, David, Joshua and Esther. Following that series, they will be looking at some of the followers of Jesus and their stories. There is a lesson to be learnt from each of these bible characters for our youngest members of the church!
Kings Kids will be starting off the term with a series looking at Job, which we will be tying in with the well known prayer of Jabez. The two run parallel through 5 lessons that deal with subjects from good character to tenacity. The overriding message from beginning to end is simply “We may have had a rough start, but its not about how we start, its about how we live and how we finish”.
Following this series, we are excited to have Kerry come and join Kings Kids for a day as a special guest speaker!
Kings Kids will then move on to a short series on Jonah. This series looks at (and teaches the truth about) 3 very foolish ideas: “You can hide from God”, “ When in trouble, don’t ask for help” and that “God wants to punish people”.

We have a great team of committed teachers. All teachers are trusted and respected members of our own church, and have been through a police check.
We ask that you, as parents, join us once a term on a roster system to help and support our teachers in their role. You will be contacted by mail with a suggested date to help with your child’s group before each term starts. |

When our teaching time is over, we split into our small groups for a time of discussion about the lesson, special activities and prayer.

Our children’s programme runs on a Sunday morning at Village Baptist Church, 147 Te Aute Road.
Children can ‘sign in’ to Kings Kids before the church service at 10.00 am. When they sign in at our welcome desk, they will collect their name tag, be marked on the roll and get a stamp on their sheet (8 stamps = a prize!).
